is i'm new to this webcomic thing. not to storytelling, but to telling the story with pictures in a way that keeps the reader as engaged as they might be with my actual writing.

this has involved me needing to learn a lot about webcomics, like drawing angles and poses i've never drawn before, learning backgrounds and perspective... i'm still getting paneling down but i like the vertical format right now. i actually think the inconsistency in the art is kinda cool, but hopefully it isn't jarring or distracting. 

the most important thing i've learned, is to set up a queue..... if i had allowed my pages to post weekly, or even bi-weekly, i would still have some pages in there. it would have given me time to do other art and content. now that i see this, i've decided to take a break from posting until i can get a queue going. 

act 2 of chapter 1 is gonna have a lot more going on in it, so it will be the longest part of this chapter. i have a lot of ideas for readers like contests and other stuff, but i've gotta get more readers first. and that involves taking this even more seriously... -wipes sweat- 

but don't worry, i'm having a lot of fun. this is my zone. i can't be happier doing anything else. if you wanna follow my progress more closely, as usual, you have the option of checking out my tumblr and discord. we're friendly.
